The Edge Guard from CMC Rescue combines tough #4 duck canvas with a layer of Shelter-Rite vinyl to protect your rope. CMC’s Edge Guards close with a two-inch strip of hook-and-loop. A strong web loop lets you anchor the Edge Guard to keep it in place. (CMC does not use grommets as a moving rope can abrade a grommet enough to create a sharp edge.) Use an Edge Guard to protect anchor ropes and webbing as well as your rescue ropes.
