TRAINING PRICING STRUCTURE
Training services are not included on the engineering and consulting rate sheet because training is not delivered or priced as hourly labor. Gravitec’s training programs are structured, scheduled, and billed on a per-student basis using defined curricula, enrollment thresholds, instructor ratios, and classroom capacity constraints.
Authorized Person and Competent Person training require minimum enrollment levels to run and maximum class sizes to maintain safety, instructional quality, and compliance with established instructional ratios. Instructor count and classroom requirements scale with enrollment volume rather than time expended by individual instructors. As a result, an hourly instructor rate would not accurately represent how training is delivered, staffed, or billed and would create misleading comparisons.
Training pricing is therefore presented separately to clearly reflect how courses are actually delivered and to provide Weyerhaeuser with predictable, enrollment-based pricing. This separation maintains clarity between engineering and consulting services, which are appropriately evaluated using labor rate structures, and instructional programs, which are governed by class structure and capacity.
For this proposal, all training is assumed to be conducted at Gravitec’s training facility in Poulsbo, Washington, consistent with Weyerhaeuser’s stated preference. Per-student pricing, enrollment limits, and instructor scaling thresholds are provided to demonstrate how training costs scale in a controlled and transparent manner.
