Gravitec Goes to Ross Dam
This summer, Gravitec had a unique opportunity at Ross Dam, a hydroelectric dam located in-between North Cascades National Park and Ross Lake National Recreation Area, just off Washington State Route 20. For two weeks Gravitec’s engineering staff had one of the most beautiful commutes into work. Day one started with a journey on a barge with the Gravitec truck to get supplies and materials onsite. The remaining morning and evening commutes were accessed by taking a jet boat. The dam now has 4 new systems in place totaling 1,300 LFT of cable for workers to safely access key areas throughout the dam.
If you ever get the opportunity, we highly recommend taking a summer or fall drive through route 20 to check out these and other stunning sights.
