3M DBI-SALA’s Tie-Off Adaptor is an all-purpose anchorage connector. Just wrap it around your anchor and put the little D-ring through the big one. Every rigger understands that a basket configuration is stronger than a choker configuration. However, every rigger also knows that not everyone understands sling angles and force vectors, so although basket configurations are stronger, choker arrangements prevent potential for misuse.

Description

This anchor strap’s choker configuration reduces its strength, but it’s overbuilt to compensate for this deficiency. It still maintains 5,000 lbs. of strength in a choker and it is as strong as it is easy to use. Unlike loop slings, it is difficult to misuse this anchor strap. This anchor is available in 3′ and 6′ lengths. A 3″ wide polyester wear pad adds abrasion resistance and product longevity. Coated steel hardware provides corrosion resistance and strength. This product meets or exceeds all applicable industry standards including OSHA and ANSI.
