This is a very solid connection, and it can be loaded in any direction including up, down, sideways, parallel or perpendicular. The anchoring D-ring swivels (a great feature to promote proper connector gate loading), and the clamp can be moved anywhere along the beam. Other than its size and weight, this is a great anchor. This anchor is specifically designed as a fall arrest anchorage and also makes an excellent endpoint for DBI-SALA’s Sayfline synthetic horizontal lifeline system and other similar DBI-SALA-approved systems. It fits flanges up to 1-1/2″ thick and is available in a variety of sizes to accommodate different flange widths. It meets or exceeds all applicable industry standards including OSHA and ANSI.
