PMI® Extreme Pro™ (G) Rope with Unicore® technology is the ultimate polyester Kernmantle rope. Unicore® technology creates the ultimate bond between sheath and core. This bond ensures sheath slippage is nearly zero, even when the sheath is entirely cut circumferentially.
Engineered for professional rope access and rescue, the PMI Extreme Pro Rope with UNICORE delivers unmatched strength, safety, and durability. This 11 mm static rope is purpose-built for harsh environments where traditional ropes fall short.
The secret is in the UNICORE technology—a permanent bond between the rope’s sheath and core. Have you ever worried about sheath slippage during a rescue or tower descent? UNICORE solves that. Even if the sheath is severely damaged, the rope maintains core integrity, giving workers time to complete the task or safely evacuate.
Whether you’re working on wind turbines, towers, confined spaces, or high-angle rescues, the PMI Extreme Pro provides the strength and flexibility you need. It’s also NFPA 1983 General Use certified, making it suitable for critical technical rescues.

Wouldn’t you prefer a rope that holds together when others fail? Trust PMI’s Extreme Pro with UNICORE to stay strong when the job gets rough. This rope is built for those who rely on performance—and demand peace of mind at height.
This rope allows the technician to pass either a cut or torn sheath area, whether descending or ascending since the sheath cannot bunch to create an impasse. Protect your rope from anything that might damage it, such as abrasion, heat, and chemicals. A metal roller, cloth pad, or another item should be placed between the rope and any sharp edge. Avoid contact between moving textiles(rope or webbing) and stationary textiles. Friction between textiles can quickly melt through the fixed part.
