CONSULTING
Gravitec leads the industry in all aspects of fall protection consulting, including fall hazard evaluation, systems design, research, standards development, and construction and inspection of fall protection systems. We also offer fall protection expert witness testimony and fall protection litigation support.
T-MOBILE
We are proud to have installed over a mile of LED lighting fixtures and 1.5 miles of horizontal lifeline, walkway and cable tray for T-Mobile Park and the Seattle Mariners. If you want to know more about this project or have any questions regarding fall protection training, engineering, testing or equipment give us a call at 800.755.8455.
DESIGN
Gravitec supplies pre-engineered fall protection systems from a number of fall protection system manufacturers. Our clients can feel confident that if Gravitec supplies a pre-engineered fall protection system, it will meet all applicable standards and regulatory requirements, as well as pass our stringent criteria. Sometimes there is not a pre-engineered system that will work, our engineers are highly trained specialists in the field, affording them the ability to design unique fall protection systems that other companies and manufacturers do not produce.
BOEING C-17 AIRCRAFT
Workers access the top of a C-17 aircraft to perform inspections and maintenance on the aircraft while inside and outside of the hangers, exposing them to fall hazards of up to 65 feet. Gravitec designed a specialty lanyard that had a high level of consistency with its deployment force, maximum arrest force and deployment length.
FABRICATION
Gravitec can fabricate any fall protection system in our fabrication/weld shop. We have relationships with top metal fabrication shops in the US and Canada allowing us to construct systems in convenient locations.
GORGE DAM
The Gorge Dam is one of a series of dams with hydroelectric power-generating stations located on the Skagit River in northern Washington State. Operations and maintenance personnel are required to ascend a ships ladder to access the upper level of the superstructure, which exposes them to potential fall hazards.
INSTALLATION
We install the systems we design, as well as pre-engineered fall protection systems. All products are thoroughly vetted by our team to ensure they meet or exceed our high standards. Gravitec installers are trained in fall protection, rope access and rescue techniques. We are keenly aware that our fall protection systems are in place to save lives and that ensuring the quality of an installation ensures the safety of the people connected to our systems.
SEATTLE CITY HALL
A rigid rail system was designed that attached under the overhangs located on the west and north faces of the building. It is unique because of its use of clamps instead of drilling into the existing structure. This system consisted of slotted rigid rail sections connected with sleeves so trolleys could move between them.
INSPECTION
To be reliable, fall protection and rescue equipment must be regularly serviced and inspected. Gravitec’s independent inspection services help our clients keep their equipment in good working order and compliant with the most current regulations and standards. Equipment may be sent to Gravitec for detailed, documented inspections performed according to manufacturer instructions. For larger inspections, Gravitec can send the inspector(s) to your site.
