June is National Safety Month

In observance of National Safety Month, we re-created one of the most iconic images in fall protection history, “Lunch Atop a Skyscraper,” with the original image having been taken in 1932.

Gravitec’s re-creation was composed of a backdrop taken from the Columbia Tower in Seattle, while our “iron workers” sitting on the beam was created in our in-house photography studio with their feet firmly planted on the ground.

Matching the light in the studio, we were able to give the photo the same look as the original, notably updating the scene to match today’s standards of fall protection.
