ENGINEERING PROJECTS
Engineering Project Solutions
We have successfully completed projects in a wide variety of unique work environments.
FEATURED PROJECTS
T-MOBILE
We are proud to have installed over a mile of LED lighting fixtures and 1.5 miles of horizontal lifeline, walkway and cable tray for T-Mobile Park and the Seattle Mariners. If you want to know more about this project or have any questions regarding fall protection training, engineering, testing or equipment give us a call at 800.755.8455.
BOEING C-17 AIRCRAFT
Workers access the top of a C-17 aircraft to perform inspections and maintenance on the aircraft while inside and outside of the hangers, exposing them to fall hazards of up to 65 feet. Gravitec designed a specialty lanyard that had a high level of consistency with its deployment force, maximum arrest force and deployment length.

GORGE DAM
The Gorge Dam is one of a series of dams with hydroelectric power-generating stations located on the Skagit River in northern Washington State. Operations and maintenance personnel are required to ascend a ships ladder to access the upper level of the superstructure, which exposes them to potential fall hazards.
SEATTLE CITY HALL
A rigid rail system was designed that attached under the overhangs located on the west and north faces of the building. It is unique because of its use of clamps instead of drilling into the existing structure. This system consisted of slotted rigid rail sections connected with sleeves so trolleys could move between them.

NATIONAL GALLERY OF ART
The National Gallery of Art commissioned Gravitec Systems to design and install overhead fall protection systems above all laylights in their West Building. The West Building, built in the late 1930’s, is located between 4th and 9th Streets along Constitution Ave NW, Washington, DC 20001.
CITY OF OKC
The Water Utilities Department in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, selected Gravitec as the preferred vendor to improve the fall protection for their personnel throughout their facilities. Some locations only required tools to be carried on-site, while others required water and power to be provided by Gravitec as well.

Century Square
The roof of the Century Square high-rise in Seattle, WA is made up of three semi domes. The top semi dome runs the complete length of the building, the second semi dome is a quarter dome for much of its length, and the third semi dome protrudes 20’ to 30’ from the face of the building at a much lower floor.
