Entertainment & Theme Park Competent Rescuer

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course introduces participants to methods and tools of Theme Park Industrial Rescue.  This course emphasizes a planned approach to rescue to include rescue prevention,  self-rescue, assisted rescue and suspended rescue. The objective of this course is to teach students to adapt to the various and unique theme park environments to perform a successful rescue.

Classroom presentations are included but are not the focus of this course. A large portion of the course is allocated to exercises where each student watches and practices the rescue methods. Written and practical tests are administered to ensure that the principles presented in the course are understood. Documentation is available to satisfy your company’s due diligence and regulatory requirements.

This course meets the American Society of Safety Engineers ANSI/ASSE Z490.1-2001 Criteria for Accepted Practices in Safety, Health, and Environmental Training, the highest industry standards for training, published.
