E-COMMERCE SALES AND MARKETING:

The E-commerce sales and marketing representative role acts as the liaison between Gravitec and our client base through online sales programs and will ensure current and prospective customers are advised in the process of selecting the products that are going to best protect their employees or themselves. The ideal candidate for this role will poses the ability to identify potential new markets, source customer leads, and confidently approach prospective new short and long-term online sales strategies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Thoroughly involved managing and editing website and web store to maximize internet sales, coordinating campaigns and salesactivities, and conducting market research that focusses on quantitative targets that are based on market analysis, consumer research, and competitive benchmarking
  • May be involved in the web store development of the content, its design, layout, management, etc.
  • Make sure that the content developed for the web store site is edited and proofread well and ensures that internet-based advertising campaigns have been followed up in a proper manner
  • Assist in the development of literature, promotional materials, and marketing ideas that will drive web store business development.
  • Review and enhance your own sales performance using provided sales metrics and dashboards, develop account plans and strategies and manage lead sources to exceed sales goals.
  • You’ll work in our customer data and sales order databases, ensuring they are accurately updated throughout the sales cycle.
  • Learn, understand and adhere to company and industry fall protection standards, safety programs and policies. This includes advising current and potential customers as they navigate the purchase of fall protection equipment.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Comfortable and professional on the phone.
  • Previous direct and B2B online sales web store management experience with demonstrable results a must
  • Web site and online shopping cart experience
  • Creative problem solving and critical thinking. Willingness to learn.
  • Confident and articulate in written and verbal communications.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact directly with clients, maintain existing and build new relationships and skillfully interpreting and advising to meet client needs to work under pressure and meet deadlines managing all areas of the sales process, from prospecting to closing
  • Be effective at building collaborative relationships, functioning as part of a team as well as working independently.
  • Computer knowledge, including current industry software including Windows OS, MS Office, and CRM software

ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE

  • Previous fall protection experience or knowledge.
  • Prior experience with SAP Business 1 and ACT!
